Day 7
As I come to the end of my first week on project ripped I find myself having coped well with most of the aspects that I wanted to focus on – eating plan, photographing, blogging and exercise, but find myself having not managed so well on sleep.
Due to family activity I didn’t get to sleep until after 12:30am last night and my body clock woke me up naturally at about 7:30am. That is an hours less sleep than I am aiming for. After that I had a bit of a lie in before going to do 15 minutes on the Concept 2 rower, managing to cover 2860 metres.
I never had my evening smoothie last night and I wondered if I would be hungry this morning. Unexpectedly, I was not hungry and never got round to eating until 9:00am.
I had my third resistance training session on the Bowflex and am surprised how much stronger I have become in only a few sesions. I know that initial strength and fitness can be quite rapid but I have been pleased with my strength gains. The strength gains have brought more post-workout fatigue and I found driving to an event this evening more challenging than previously.
I managed to eat sensibly at the event this evening with a melon starter, chicken dish main meal followed by fruit salad desert. These were all small portions which pleased me.
I am a little anxious about the weigh-in tomorrow. I should have lost some weight this week but is it all fat? What if my results are negative? What if there is no change? I know that I am using the princple of feedback to alter my plan but I will be very disappointed if I have made no progress.

Mate you are very brave, you have a lot to loose but i admire your project.
I will be keeping an eye on your progress good luck.
