Day 10

After falling asleep yesterday evening I didn’t manage to get to sleep again until after 3 am. this morning.  When the alarm woke me at 6:30 am. I felt a bit tired as it wasn’t the best quality sleep. Taking a bit longer to become conscious this morning I got on the Concept 2 rower for 15 minutes and covered 2980 metres.

The day went fine and although I thought I would be tired never was.

It was resistance training day and today I doubled my sets from 1 to 2 on the Bowflex. Doubling the quantity of work made a big difference. I found the second sets extremely challenging and got a muscle pump that I just never could on one set. I believe in single set training but don’t feel strong enough to get enough stimulus from that yet. Having said that if I feel I am over-training on the volume of two sets I would be happy to go back to one.

Back to a normal sleeping pattern tonight – I hope.
